Sie — A very considerable discussion having been provoked about the system adopted by contractors in reference to their supplying men engaged by them with tools, provisions, &c, and a pretty wide and sweeping reference made to all, I, in conjunction with my mates, beg to render testimony to the very fair and honorable manner in which Messrs Keith and Co, treated their men, and we think more has been said about the whole affair than was squired.
