The Cattle Board to-day passed resolutions affirming the desirability of giving effect to the decision of the Intercolonial Conference with reference to the importation of stock from beyond the limits of the Australian Colonies, and that Hew Zealand should adopt the prohibition on condition of all other Colonies doing the same. . -Also that, notice by,, advertisement in the Times should be given as to the date on which the prohibition would com. mence, and that in the meantime stock should only be allowed to land under very stringent conditions' of inspection and quarantine. -, .
