COMMERCIAL.
Oats, very scarce; parcels eargerly sought at 3s 7d to 3s ll£d, at auction, 4s; privately, wheat, 5s 8d to 53 9d. Sugars very firm at advanced rates, especially fine whites. No vessels loading for the colonies at Mauritius on 18th March. Extreme prices obtained. Oregon timber and deal, large sales effected.
