The French National Assembly elected a epmmittee of 30 to consider the Government Constitutional proposals. Nineteen to these belong to the Right, and represent 361 votes; 11 belong to the Left, and represent 330 votes. The Right is opposed to a dissolution, but is favorable to partial renewal of the Assembly. Jt has insisted on Ministerial responsibility, but is disposed to give Thiers a suspensary veto. The winding-up of the Queensland 1 Sheep Investment Company is proposed.
