The Legislative Council inserted an amendment in Diseases in Stock Bill, giving power to other House to disallow regulations. Thi3 disagreed with the Assembly's views, and a conference was held with no result, neither House gave way, and further consideration was postponed till next Tuesday. This will delay the prorogation, which was originally fixed for Tuesday. A Bill was brought in to increase the Judges' salaries LSOO each, and opposed. Mr Fellows accepts Judgeship with increased salary. In the Carl case Moant and Morris have been committed for trial in Sydney. The sentence of death passed on Captain Armstrong and Dowden, the mate, has been commuted to imprisonment for life — the first three in irons. Private telegrams from Mauritius, via Aden, states an advance of ten cents in whites. A telegram from London of 29th November, states that kerosene is 2d dearer. .
