MINING LEASES AT INANGAHUA.

It is notified by the Superintendent of Nelson that it is intended to grant leases for gold-mining purposes of the undermentioned blocks of land :— T en acres, at Rainy Creek (Nos. 3 and 4 South), applied for by Joseph Kilgour, Barm Water Company. Thirteen acres, at Rainy Creek, applied for by W. A. Woods, Polar Star Company. Four acres, at Boatman's Creek, applied for by Henry Caplin, Hopeful Company. Twelve acres at Murray Creek, applied for by G. W. Moss, Ivanhoe Company. Fourteen acres, at Boatman's Creek (No. 5 South, Thompson's), applied for byJohnCorr, Cosmopolitan Company. Eight acres, at Murray Creek, applied for by Martin Thomas, ShoWver Company. Four acres^ at Murray Creek, applied for by Isaac Gill and others, Keep it Dark Company ; area applied for eight acres two roods and nine perches. Ten acres, at Murray Creek, applied for by William Lyon and others, British Empire Company. Wine acres at Murray Creok, applied for by Hugh Brennan and others, Inglawood Company. Eight acres at Murray CreeK applied for by Michael Dunn and others Golden Star Company. Thirteen acres at Murray Creek, applied for by the Phoenix Qnartz-niining Company, Registered. Fourteen asres at Murray Creek, applied for by Angus Sutherland and ethers'' Albion Company. Fourteen acres at Murray Oraek, applied for by H. G. Hankin and others, Edith Company. The Superintendent has .refuted to

grant the following gold-mining leases : — Seven acres at Raioy Creek, applied for by Edward Gittoes, Atlas Company; Eleven acres at Rainy Creek, applied for by John M'Lean, Belfast Company. Twelve acres at Murray Creek, applied for by C. Mirfin, Australian Company. Sixteen acres at Murray Creek, applied for by John Dixon and others^ City of Nelson Company, Ten acres at Murray Creek, applied for by William Lynch and others, Brighton Company.
