Per Sarah and Mary, from Lyttelton : 34 bales chaff, 30 sacks wheat, 140 do oats, 4 do flour, 80 do bran, 127 do potatoes, 10 coses bacon, 10 casks eggs, 20 ket;s buttor, 95 cheeses, Woolcock ; 30 sacks malt, Strike and Blackmore. Tho brig Mary Grant, from Hobart Town, with a large cargo of Tastnanian produce^ arrived in the roadstead last evening, arid will be brought to the wharf this morning. £he is consigned to Messrs D Gird wood and Co. The 8,8 Go-Ahead, which was announced to sail for Sydney, will not arrive hera for about ten days, as she has made a trip from Wanganui to the Monakau. The s s Kennedy, now under the command of Mr Qua nee, lately mate of the s.s Waipara, is expected here this morning from Westport The schooner Canterbury from this port arrived at I yttelton on the 25th ult. The schooners Isabella and Spray sailed from Lyttelton for this port on the 27th ult. with cargoes of produce. The fresh having gone down tho bar was again in workable order yesterday morning. Thop.s Dispatch ran out, and brought to the wharf tho schooner Sarah and Mary, from Lyttelton, wM» a carco of^wro'duce for Mr WpoICOCK."" The p.s Charles Edward left for the north yesterday morning, and the p.s Wallace arrived on the same tile from , Hokitika, and sailed in the evening for Nelson direct. Mr Douglas, of Dnnedin, has received an order from the A.S.N. Company, Sydney, for four of his boats, fitted with his patent boat-lowering apparatus. Mr Douglas has secured another patent for tho invention. The A. S.N. Company's steamship Wonga Wonga brought from I levcland Bay 260 returned diggers, all of whom give most deplorable accounts of tho prospects of the Charters Towers goldfiolds. The A.-.N. Company, under the peculiar circumstances of the case brought them back at very low rates, in fact for very little over the coat of victualling.
