Sydney, Aug. 28. The Queensland Parliament was prorogued yesterday. Arrangements are being made to give the Governor an unusually grand reception in the Hunter district.
Governor Ferguson of South Australia remains here for ten days.
Adelaide, Aug. 28. The Farningham has arrived from Mauritius with a cargo of sugar. Breadstuffs are unaltered.
