Nelson", June 7. The Council resolved unanimously, and without discussion, on the motion of the Provincial Solicitor, seconded by Mr Kynnersley, that the evidence as to Mr O'Connor's purchase of the sections at Westport, discloses a course; of conduct of a kind entirely unparalleled and unprecedented in the annals of the Council, highly derogatory to its character, and. demanding its severest reprobation. It also unanimously agreed to memorialise the Government to refuse to issue Crown grants for the sections so taken up.
