THE SAN FRANCISCO MAIL.

The following, which is compiled from an | official time table issued by the Post Office Department, shows the days on which the San Francisco mail is due at and departs from Greymouth during 1872 :—

The time allowance between Greymouth and Auckland is six days ; between Auckland and San Francisco, 24 days; and between San Francisco and London, from 18 to 20 days—total from Greymouth to jjondon, 49 to 50 days.
