New Zealand 164 bales. The .third series commences on June 22. Tallow, little doing. L 707,000 New Zealand taken up at and above L 96 ; L 492,000 at and above" L 95 10s ; average rate, L 95 17s 6d. New South Wales loan L 1,630,700 has been tendered for; applications forL9B,loo were received at two-thirda above the limit ; allotment in full, i Quotations.— New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency, §ths to §ths premium ; Trust and Loan Company, ifthstoLfths; Otago and Southland Investment Company, £ discount to quarter premium. The Money Market is easy. - Bank of New Zealand shares, Ll6 5s to Ll6 10s. Closing quotations Kew Zealand sixes, 108£ to 109| ; fives, 97i to 98£. Flax— 3oo bales were offered of old parcels and low quality and low prices was accepted. Holders of good samples are firm. L and S parcels realised L 34. Large arrivals per Countess and William Da vie are expected to depress prices. San Francisco. Wheat higher. No shipments, and local speculators buy at 2|c to 3c per lb for fair samples: Flour, best samples, Bdol to 8'25d01. The wool market is inflated, 25c to 33c for common.
