Tauranga, April 14. There ia no information to hand oE the result of the meeting at Ohinemuri. The Government has contracted with Mr M'Kenzie for an extension of the telegraph line to Kati Kati, twenty-five miles. ' ; r? . Spit, April 14. A large building on the Goldsmith road, the property of Major Green, adjoining his dwelling-house, was burnt this morning. The loss is partially covered by insurance. The building was originally Steward's canteen. Hokitika, April 14. The Governor visited the Kanieri district and the Hokitika Hospital to-day. There will be a ball and supper in the Town Hall to-night. Adelaide flour, £18 per ton. The markets are otherwise unaltered.
