. [BY ELEOTRJO TELEGRAPH.] (from our ow2t correspomdenx.) Bluff Nov. 12. The s.s. Alhambra, Captain Underwood, commander, left Hobson's Bay at 3 p.m. on the 7th, and arrived at the Bluff at noon to-day after a fine run of 4 days 16 hours. Passenger List. — For Dunedin : Miss Flexman, Mrs Underwood, Mr and Mrs Hawdou, Miss Hawdon, Mrs Hudson, Master Watson, Mrs Wheeler and Miss Wheeler, Mrs Scholes, 32 steerage, and 47 tons cargo. For Lyttelton : Mr Schlanders, and 25 tons cargo. For Wellington : Mr Gifford, Mr Shaw, Oapfc. Corfield, and 46 tons cargo. For Nelson : Mr J. Hounsell, and 38 tons cargo. Melbourne, Nov. 7. Markets during the week has been very steady. Flour sold at auction parcelsfifty tons, at LI 2 10^, and some with, drawn for higher rates. Trade lots soil readily at Ll3. The market opened today firm, but trade generally inclined to allow the mail to go before further rise encouraged. Wheat bought freely up to OS lid. Oats steady at 3s 5d to 3s Bd. Maize scarce at 4s 5d to 4s 6d. Kerosene advanced ; Devoes selling at 23 Id to 2s 2J. Banks redxiced premium of exchange to one and a half per cent, thirty days. Sugars remain firm.
