Mr Gillies will address the electors next Monday. Mr Swanson's requisition is signed by 250 votes. Mr Clarke has retired from the contest, in fayor of Mr Creighton. Commercial. — Binney sold yesterday — Wheat at 3s lid to 5s lid ; flour 12s to 17s 6d. The Coromandel gold fields are giving tnagnificient returns. The steamer Napier was successfully launched this afternoon.
