The Boyne Beef promises well. The stone now being got out for the first crushing is not from the main reef, but from leaders easily worked; the object of the tributors is to get out a crushing as soon as possible, by which they expect to realise means enough to enable them to sink shafts, already begun, down to the main reef, when somsthing handsome may be realised. Some very rich specimens are visible among the stone ready for crushing. Shares in this reef and plant have gone up 30 per cent. Messrs Vallis and Vero, two Calliope miner?,' applied to the Commissioner for a claim on Nuggetty Gnlly. The locality is immediately behind Mr Pujolas' Hotel. A rich-looking leader has been discovered very near the surface.—Gympie Times.
