Colombo, Sept. 3. Loading with coffee — Lucy, for Sydney; David and Jessie, for Melbourne. Salle, Sept. 7. The Malta arrived 30 hours late. The French steamer Hooghly made the voyage from Galle to Marseilles and back via the Suez Canal, with stoppages, in 47 days. The laying of the telegraph cable from Singapore to Madras will begin at the end of the current year.
