[westport times.] Nelson, Friday. Mr Luckie gave notice yesterday in the Council of the following motion for Tuesday next :—" That the Government of this Province, as at present constituted, does not possess the confidence of the Council." Carrington, a supporter of the Ministry, has been returned for Omata, Taranaki. The Wonga Wonga has not yet arrived [ at Auckland, but hourly expected. The City of Melbourne brought 122 passengers for the San Francisco route, and was to leave Aucklaud on Wednesday last. The Governor and Native Minister had a satisfactory torero with Native Chiefs at Wliangaroa, the natives are anxious for a town there.
