Wednesday, April 13; ' ; (Before E. S. Lapham, Esq., J.P.) Richard Felling admitted haviDg been drunk' and disorderly, and was discharged ■with a caution, this being his first offence. Patrick Fleming, supposed to be of unsound mind, was remanded for medical examination. ; . Maggie and Lizzie Rice, two little children, were brought up on a charge of vagrancy. The mother had been locked on Tuesday for seven days for refusing to pay a small fine, and the same evening the girls were found by the police wandering down the tramway. Mr Inspector James asked that an order should be made for their maintenance at the expense of the Government until their mother had served her time. The order was made accordingly.
