' [gympie times, jan. 26.} During the past ten days there have been rumors of rushes floating about. "Inibil way" is mentioned rather frequently, and mysterious hints that two men have been on gold in that neighborhood, for. some, time have been given. However, we can obtain no definite information, and merely mention this rumor for what it is worth. . "•"•.'.,."..".; There has been an infinitesimal rii3h;to that . steady friend of the " hard up" digger, Surface. Hill. . Various parties have bison making wages or " tucker" from the ground, 'for. the last two years, and now then;' a rich specimen is picked up,' showing that a good reef exists somewhere , near, although the, pains and labor expended dn searching for it have hitherto been unsuccessful. .;.
