[bathurst times.] At a public meeting of miners held at Turnkey's Creek, the following resolutions were unanimously adopted :— L The appointment of an Officer of Mines resident in Sydney. 2. A reduction in the cost of miners' rights, ,3. A greater protection to individual miners. 4. A change in the mode of the Commissioner's present duties. 5. The establishment of a C>>miniß*i raer's Court. 6. That no unpaid Justices of the Peace be permitted to settle - mining disputes. 7. That a more extended area be given to . mining prospectors. 8. That the present system of leasing be abolished. 9. That an appeal be allowed to a Court of Mines or Circuit. 10. A more complete system of registration. 11. The appointment of a single Mining Board holding office in Sydney, with a member" returned from each division, and paid for service. 12. The increase of mining divisions. 13. The abolition of the export duty on gold.
