(FBOM Oil OWN CORRESPONDENTS.) Christchuhch, Sunday. News has reached here that yesterday a, man named Kingcotte accidentally ghot himself dead on the station of Mr Blakiaton, at Cragieburn. Napier, Sunday, Lieutenant-Colonel Herrick went out in a whaleboat and reconnoitered the Hau.-. hau position at Tike Tike (WiikaraMoan^ Lake), on the night of the 27th. It was moonlight, and his retreat wsa. nearly cut off by one of the enemy'B war canoes. Two hundred Arawas have 'marched against Te Kooti. The mutiny of the constabulary at Ma-. tata has terminated. Wellington, July 4. The Money Bills were passed through all stages in the Legislative Council on Friday, and were assented to by the Governor yesterday. A Tenders will be immediately invited fop the Treasury Bills.
