St. Kilda, Charleston, and Westport, every Wednesday, at 4.30 p.m. For Hokitika and Paroa, daily. Money orders must be procured and letters registered one Jiour previous to the closing of the mail by which it is intended to transmit them. j Lettern for sea borne mails will be for- I warded if posted within forty minutes after the advertised time for closing the mails, such letters to bear a late fee of Od, in addition to the postage, the whole to be affixed in postage stamps. In future, the Post Office will be open to the public, for the transaction of Money Order and Savings Bank business, on ordinary days from 9 o'clock a. m. to 4 o'clock p.m., and on Saturdays, and on the day previonsly to the closing of the Mails for the United Kingdom, from 9 o'clock a.m. to 5 o'clock p.m. On and after the Ist January, the postage on letters addressed within New Zealand, out of the County of Westland, must bear the luterrprovincial rate of threepence per half -ounce.
