ARRIVAL OF THE PANAMA MAIL
[The following was issued from this office as an " Extra" yesterday morning :— ] Wellington, October 1. The P.N.Z. and A. R.M. Co.'s s.s. Ruahine, from Panama, arrived in this h^avbor at 5p m. The Atrafco, from Southampton to Colon, broke down, and had to put backj hence thp delay in the arrival of the mail. She brings English papers to the loth, and news via New York to the 20th August. C. Young, Mr Catologs.— For Nelson :Mr Allen. — For Auckland : Messrs Webb, Benbow, Morris, Edwards, Stephen.— For Melbourne : Messrs Perry, Euriclikieu, Mr Mrs and Miss. Cardigan.— For Sydney :Mr and Mrs Branston, Mrs Vaughan and infant, Messrs Cloete, Gullick.
