BRITISH COLUMBIA.

Last year this Colony produced 6250,000 more gold than during any previous twelve months, and the yield of agricultural products of every description exceeded by f our-f old that of the preceeding year. Nanaimo, during 1867, sent away §39,000 worth of coal more than she did in 1866, and the shipments of the same place for the month of Feb. exceeded those of any single month since the mine was opened. Twelve months ago, it was a difficult matter to induce an intelligent shipmaster to load his vessel with lumber and spars at Burrard Inlet. To-day, seven large vessels are loading or preparing to load at the mills there for foreign markets ; and as many vessels more are ou the way from abroad to take in cargoes.
