TI^HE following clauses from "The Crown Grants Act, IStiG " (passed Sth October, 15156) are published for general infujinatipn : — Clause XXXV II. — "There shall be paid to -Hio T>?f'.r'iy' > r__< I .f Ltvnjl^Ttpvoiii-i.^ OAl.Oth("*i\ Officer appointed to, receive the sauie, a fee of One Pound upon, every Crown Grant of lands not exceeding in amount one hundred acres, and upon every Crown Grant of hind exceeding that average, an additional fee of One Farthing for every acre in excess of one hundred acres." . Clause XXXlX.— "There shall bo paid upon all grants to be hereafter issued, which may be left in the charge or custody of any Commissioner of Crown Lands, or other officer charged with the delivery of the same, a fee of Sixpence for every mouth durirg. which they shall have been. so left, after the expiration of three months from the date of the notice in the Gazette? of the Province wherein the lands are situate" that such Grants are ready for delivery." XL— "Thdre shall be paid upon all Grajitsl&iucd prior to the passing of this Act, and left as aforesaid in the custody of i the officer charged with the delivery therepf j a fee of Sixpence per month for every montd during which they shall be so left after tt/o months subsequent to the passing of uiis Act," / W.
