The" Short Title of this Act shall be the New Customs Duties Act, '1504. 2. The duties of Customs chargeable upon goods, wares, and 1 merchandise imported into the Colony of New Zealand, shall cease and determine from and after the Bth day of December, 1864. . 3.. From and after the Bth day of December, one thousand eight hundred and sixty -four, in lieu of such duties the following duties of Customs shall be charged on all goods, wares, arid merchandise hereinafter specified, imported into the "Colony of New Zealand, or : cleared from any warehouse for home consumption, that is' to say : — £ s. d. 1.
