Br Electric Telegraph—Coptbight. COLONIAL INDEBTEDNESS. ARABI PASHA. EUROPEAN POLITICS. [special to pbess association.] Received December 21st, 10.40 a.m. LONDON, December 20th, 6 a.m. The " Times," in noticing Sir Dillon Bell's recent paper on colonial indebtedness, ■expresses its opinion that the creditors of the Australian colonies have no reason for entertaining any misgivings as to their security in consequence of the increase of the public debt. The real question it thinks is, however, whether the colonies are not preparing future trouble for themselves by mortgaging their prospective incomes to such an extent.

Arabi, and the other Egyptian exiles, are to sail on Christmas Day. The Austrian Government is taking measures to allay the public fears of war.
