At a meeting of the committee held at the Junction Hotel on Monday evening, Mr George Bailey (vice-president) in the chair, there was a good attendance of members. The foregoing general entries were received. An offer of the City Guards Band was accepted. It was decided by the stewards present that the b m Mor was qualified to run in the District Plat Race, as they considered she had not won public money. The preliminaries for clearing the course were arranged for. It was reported that the saddling paddock and grand stand would be completed in time for the races. It was decided to arrange with Hobbs and Goodwin for the use of their totalisator on the ground. The meeting then adjourned.
