Malicious Damage to Property.— i- John Cook and John Proudfoot ploadei d guilty to having damaged the property o '■ the Shirley Church trustees. They hat t broken ten panes of glass, and enterin'; u the Church had smashed some tressles ant ■ smeared the walls with filth. The damage s done would cost .£3 to repair. It appeared to have boon done in a drunken freak - They were fined each 10s, and ordered tc t make good the damage done. • * Assaulting a Guard. —Joseph Bradley pleaded guilty to this offence. Ho had ) persisted in trying to get on hoard a goods ’ train at Templeton on Friday, and when • requested to desist he had squared up to the guard, Sami. Hall, and tore his waistcoat. Ho was fined £2 oriu default ninetysix hours’ imprisonment. Vagrancy. —John Bradley, a frequent visitor to the dock of the Court, was proved to have solicited alms and got drunk with the money. He was sent to gaol for three mouths as a rogue and a vagabond.
