The Lyttelton C.C. play a scratch match, on Saturday next at Heath'cote Valley, sides to be chosen on the ground. Mem bers to proceed by the 12.40 p.m. train. The following will represent Lancaster Park Reserve against TJ.C.C. at Hagley Park on Saturday at 2.30 sharp : —Messrs Atkinson, Brown, Fisher, Grey, Greenstreet, Montgomery, McDonald, Nelson, O’Donnell, Robison, Wicks; emergency, Sutcliffe. The Lancaster Park Reserves are requested to muster in force on Saturday for a scratch match. The match will be played on Saturday next, on the Association, ground, and will commence at 2.30 p.m. The following have been chosen to represent the Midland Club in their match versus Lancaster Park—Geo. Watson, C. Strange, E. Barnes, P. Philpott, Fuller, TBuchanan, O. Haskell, J. Fowke, G. A. Turner, Edser, and Washer. Emergency— A. B. Paul. The match to be played on the Association ground. The following will play for the Woolston C.C. on Saturday next in their match against the St. Albans C.C. on the ground of the latter club: —Messrs E. White, W. Hirst, J. Fay, J. W. Davis, J. The following are chosen to represent the Latimer C.C. in their match with the Third Eleven St. Albans C.C., to be played on the ground of the latter, on Saturday, 9th inst., and are requested to meet at Godley’s statue at two o’clock, so as to commence play at 2.30 p.m. sharp :—F. Evans (captain), H. Hill, C. Acland, V. Damele, E. Efferson, E. Johnston, W. * Gorton, F. Thate, A. Hamilton, W. Hamilton, A. McDonald. Emergencies—J. Kirk and J. McGinty. The following, who are requested to meet the conveyance at the Post Office at 1.45 p.m., will play for the Standard C.C. in their match with the Glenmore C.C. at Woolston, on Saturday next: —Messrs J. The following will represent the Midland C.C. in their match with the Kaiapoi C.C. at Hagley park Messrs Bell, Hargreaves, E. S. Hill, W. Horneafc J. Horner, Hunt, Laurence, Monck, Falairet, Paul and Whiting. An eleven of the same club will also play against Lancaster Park C.C., and will be composed as follows : —Messrs Ambrose, Done, Garty, Grossman (captain). Harper, McGeachie, Smith, Tait, Taylor, Withers and Wood.
The following will play for the Merivale C.C. in their match against the United Papanui C.C. at Papanui : —A. Gapes (captain), H. Evans, W. Garrard, A.Mountfort, A. Eeay, F. Lane, 11. Tucker, A. Billens, W. Eichards, Y. Pozzi and E. Mclntosh. Emergency—E. Matthews. A conveyance will leave the Junction Hotel at 2 p.m.
