Owners of horses are reminded that entries for Maiden Plate, Novel Race ; also, acceptances for Handicap Hurdle, Maiden Handicap Hurdle, Cup, Trot, and Flying Handicap, with Sweepstakes in Cup of two sovs., to bo made to the secretary. Wharf Hotel, Woolston, before 8 p.m. Monday, the 11th December. HORORATA RACES. The following is the programme for January 3rd:—Maiden Plate of 10 sovs; Eakaia Gorge and Hororata Handicap, 20 sovs ; Hurdle Race, 15 sovs ; Hororata Cup Handicap, 13 sovs and cup; Handicap Trot, 8 sovs ; Ladies’ Purse, 15 sovs and purse ; Consolation, 5 sovs. Nominations for the Rakaia Gorge and Hororata Handicap Hurdle Race and Hororata Cup Handicap close on Friday, December Bth.
