' LONDON, November 30, 1.8 p.m. Sir George Bowen and Sir John Pope Hennessy exchange the governments of Mauritius and Hong Kong. Mr Field, the wounded juryman, is still lingering in a precarious state. The " Daily Telegraph " says that the lonor of a Baronetcy conferred on the Hon. W. J. Clark marks a step in the direction of the federation of the Empire. It is believed that the sentence of exile against Arabi Pasha is imminent.
The Bev. G. W. Keimidon has been consecrated to the Episcopal See of Adelaide. The ceremony was performed with great pomp in Westminster Abbey by the Eight Ker. Bishop of London, acting as -the reprpsentative of His Grace the Archl>ishop of Canterbury, who was too ill to l>e present. The Bishops of Winchester, JEochester, Durham, and Lichfield, the Eight Rev. Bishop Suter, Bishop of Nelson, N.Z., and the Eight Eev. Samuel Thornton, Bishop of Ballarat, assisted at the ceremony. The sermon was preached by the Eev. Dr. Golt, of Leeds.
