LICENSING- MEETING.

The quarterly meeting of the North Christchurch Licensing Committee was held to-day at noon, in the Resident Magistrate's Court. Present —Messrs R. Westenra (chairman), C. A. Pritchard, John Anderson, J. P. Jameson, and Dr. Prina. Mr R. D. Thomas applied for a confirmation of the transfer of license from John Barlow to Alfred Stening, in respect of the Britannia Hotel. Application granted. This was all the husiness.
