Received November 26th, 5.40 p.m. MELBOURNE, November 25.

The cricket match at Castlemain between a local Twenty-two and the Hon. Ivo Bligh’s team was concluded to-day. The visitors in their first innings scored 23G against 136 of their opponents. Th e latter, in their second innings, when time was called, had put together 22 for the los s of eight wickets. The match was therefore drawn in favor of the English team, the Twenty-two having 79 rims to make to save a one inning’s defeat.

Received November 27th, 0.45 a.m. SYDNEY, November 23.

The sculling race for the Krug Champagne Trophy was rowed to-day, and was won by Gaden, Brett 2, Sharland 3.

The Tasmanian sculling match between E. Trickett and Clifford, for TIOO aside was won easily by the latter by several lengths.
