Mails close at the following places as under (subject to the necessary alterations) : SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 25. For Northern Ports, per Taiaroa, at 7 p.m. The guard's van must not be used for this mail.
MONDAY, NOVEMBER 27. For Kaikoura, per Wakatu, at 3.20 p.m.; late fee letters, 3.30 p.m.; guard's van, 4 p.m. train. TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 28. For Otago and Australian colonies, per Rotorua (connecting with Ringarooma at Port Chalmers), at 1.45 p.m.; late fee letters, 2 p.m.; guard's van, 2.40 p.m. train.
For Northern ports, per Wanaka, at 7 p.m. The guard's van must not be used for this mail.
