The City of Delhi and the Dallam Tower are expected from Calcutta by the N.Z. Grain Agency Company. Messrs Shaw, Saville and Co. s ship Pleiades is taking in wool and other cargo at the breastwork for London. She will also take a number of passengers, and sail about the middle of next month. The N.Z. Shipping Company's ship WaiToa has, besides 1300 bags of grain, about 1000 bales of wool and skins on board, some tallow, pelts, kauri gum, and basils towards her cargo for London. Some passengers are also booking by her, several of whom have been inspecting her fine saloon accommodation. She is expected to be ready for sea by the end of this month. News of the movements of Mr C. W. Turner's vessels is to hand as follows: —The Rio Loge was unable to make the Eastern passage from Foo Chow, and had thus to beat the whole way down the China Sea. She passed Anger on November 12th, then "being 60 days out, so that she can scarcely Teach Dunedin before the end of December. The barque Elizabeth is also due next month from Port Townsend, Oregon, with lumber. She left there on October 16th. The Thurso and the Cingalese, from Calcutta for Lyttelton, did not get away from there until October sth and October 15th respectively. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. Wellington, November 24. Arrived Gleaner, from Greymouth; Wanaka, from the North. Sailed —Omapere, for Auckland. ENGLISH SHIPPING NEWS.
The Horsa (Messrs Shaw, Saville and Co.) left London for this port on September 17th. She has a considerable passenger list. —The Hurunui (New Zealand Shipping Company), Captain Sutherland, who was formerly chief officer in the same vessel when she was commanded by Capt. Barclay, now of the Wairoa, left London for Lyttel--ton on September 14th with a large number oi passengers. —The ships Soukar, Triton, and Opawa, were loading for Lyttelton at London, and the Centurion was loading at Middlesborough for Lyttelton on October •6th.—At New York the Motley cleared for Lyttelton and Dunedin on September 13th.
