AUCTIONEER’S REPORT. Mb Charles Clark hold an auction salo at his rooms yesterday of various properties. The first lot on the list was a section on the "Whateley road, on which Messrs Allen and • Sou formerly carried on business as sawanillors. Owing to a legal question the premises were not submitted to auction, nor was the saw-milling plant for the like reason. Next came a small section on the JEdgeware road, St. Albans, sold for .£B3 10s. A cottage in St. Asaph street East was then offered, which also found a purchaser at .£2OO. A section and cottage at Bingsland was offered, and withdrawn, but an offer was subsequently made most likely to lead to a bargain. Mr Clark reports the salo privately, and on Saturday last, of a property near the Racecourse sold for £ WOO cash. Total sales, -£2041. To-morrow he sells at his rooms all the sporting paraphernalia, books, &c., of the late Colonel Packe.
