The final heat of the Maiden Double Senile was vowed off last night, Hyman and Shand having beaten K. Shand and G. W. Shic ls on Saturday last, after a very close race, by a bare length.

Both boats jumped away to a good start, and hept well together to the bathingplace. where Hyman forced the pace, and on rounding Cowlishaw’s corner the Dolphin had nearly a clear length to the good. The Daphne came up well to the leaders, and a good race ensued home, Hyman and Shand winning a grand race by one length.
