In the House of Commons to-day the resolutions proposed hy Mr Gladstone for reform of of the House were again under consideration. After further debate the second rule, providing “ that motions for adjournment cannot he made Before public business has been entered upon,” was voted, after some mitigation of the stringency of the rule had been agreed to hy the Premier. Ten persons who were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the murder of six members of the Joyce family, at Maantrasna, County Galway, on the 18th of August last, have been brought up for trial at Dublin. The prisoners have been arraigned separately, and the trial of the first was concluded to-day, the prisoner being found guilty. < [special to press association.] Received November 16th, 2.30 p.m. LONDON, November 15th, 7.30 p.m. New South Wales stock is improving in the market since the Inscribing Bill was announced. Owing to the dearth in the hop crop fancy prices continue. In consequence of strong advice received from financial authorities the Adelaide loan is being held over until an Inscription Bill can be passed hy the local Legislature. The British Government have stopped the Sultan’s income from Cyprus, in order to cover the loan guaranteed for Colonel Surge’s ransom.
