By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. [beuteb’s telegrams.] Received November 15th, 12.30 p.m. MELBOURNE, November 15. It is reported that the Hon. W. J. Clarke will shortly receive a baronetcy, but the statement, however, requires confcmation. ~ The ship George Thompson, 1128 tons a from Sundsvall, timber laden, ran ashore at the heads yesterday. She has since been floated, but is full of water. Continued opposition is being experienced by the Government in the Legislative Assembly to the proposals introduced for the conversion of the Victorian loans.
