By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. THE IRISH POTATO CROP. ANARCHISTS IN FRANCE. ARABI PASHA. [special to press association.] deceived November 15th, 10.15 a.m, LONDON, November 14, 6.15 p.m. Owing to the failure of the potato crop a famine is imminent throughout the west of Ireland. The shipwrights’ strike has been defeated. The men resumed work on former terms. Several anarchists have been arrested at Lyons. Evidence has been obtained that they contemplated a scheme for a partial rising in that city to pave the way for a general outbreak throughout Prance. Arabi Pasha has written a letter to the Xiondon “ Times,” in which he protests that the Khedive in the first instance sanctioned the war, and that the national party afterwards insisted on his continuing it.
