THE RAILWAY COMMISSION.
[By Thlkoeaph.] WELLINGTON, November 14. The members of the Koyal Commission for the South Island trunk railway route have decided to travel over all the rival routes, and to inspect them personally with the utmost thoroughness before taking any oral evidence on the subject. They arc now going over the ground in Marlborough and North Canterbury, and on completing their personal ocular examination they will commence taking evidence in Christchurch.
