However, the 200 and 300 yards range wore got through, and the following are the five highest teams :

Dunedin Naval Brigade, 256 ; Thames Navals, 249 ; Wellington Artillery, 244 ; Wellington Navals, 141; Thames Navals (second team), 235. The 500 yards range of this match, and the rifle challenge match will he fired tomorrow morning. The Otago ladies shield match (restricted to Otago volunteers), and tho final stages of both championships. This morning Mr J. L. Gillies, of Dunedin, and Mr Fergus, M.H.E., fired a

rifle match, conditions being 200, 500 and GOO yards, standing at tho former and kneeling at the remainder. The match, which was for £5 5s and trophy, was won by Mr Fergus, and he- immediately presented it to the Rifle Association. It will be fired for hy members of association tomorrow.

The committee have voted £2O for a match between members of the staff, and that also -will be fired to-morrow.

The twenty highest rifle aggregate scorers in the Nelson, Canterbury, Auckland, Otago, and Marlborough Union matches, who fire a second stage match of ten shots at COO yards to decide the winner of Rifle Championship, _ are Sergeant Kennedy, South District Rifles, ; Volunteer Coventry, Dunedin City Ccards, 282; Volunteer Harding, Oamaru Rides. 275; J.
