NORTHERN AGRICULTURAL SHOW.
[PBOM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.] j EANGIOEA, November 2. The Northern Show is a great success. The weather is fine, there is a large ' attendance, and the exhibits are better than usual. The chief exhibitors are : Merino sheep, Messrs J. Pearson, C. Ensor, and S. Hossack ; English Leicesters, Mr P. C. Threlkeld; Border Leicesters, Messrs J. McFarlane, T. McDonald, and R. Leggat; Lincolns, Messrs W. Sansom, T. Pashby, Hon. 11. B. Gresson, and Mr Threlkeld; Eoninejs, Messrs A. Parsons, M. Duncan, S. Hossack; cattle, Messrs Threlkeld, Marcroft, W. Williams, C. Skevington, W. Waterson, Hon. H. B. Gresson, and Mr E. Parnham. Polled Angus cattle are shown by Messrs "W. Paterson and K. Mcintosh. Horses, Messrs J. Willis, G. King, J. Torrens, D. Girling, M. Peach, M. McFarlane, J. Starker, C. D. Crossley, and J. Fulton. The show of pigs is very good. The exhibitors are Messrs R. Tudman, Luxton Bros., E. Coup, E. Parnham, J. Brown, and M. Peach. Implements are shown by Messrs P. and D. Duncan, J. Little, Eeid and Gray, and John Anderson. There is a fair exhibit of dairy produce, but a falling off in manufactures.
