TRADESMEN’S ATHLETIC CLUB.
A committee meeting of the above club was hold on Saturday evening in the Wellington Hotel. Mr J. E. McGregor ■was in the chair. Tenders wore opened for the service of a band on the day on which the sports take place. Offers were received from the bandmasters C.T.C. and the Lyttelton band. Consideration was postponed. Mr J. E. Parker was appointed assistant secretary and Mr J. C. Cusack was appointed treasurer. The receipts for the evening wore .£6 2s Gd. The following entries were received: — \ Free Handicap.— A. S.
