In consequence of the recent execution of agrarian murderers, intense excitement prevails amongst the Land Leaguers in Dublin. It is reported that several letters have been sent to Marwood, the public executioner, threatening to murder him. The “ Times ” publishes a scheme for tho construction of a ship canal from Alexandria to Cairo, and from thence to Sues. The cost, it is estimated, would amount to about ten millions.
