Pat sheep were in small supply, and prices advanced by 2s to 2s 6d per head, crossbreds bringing from 1 is 3d to 13s 6d, merinos 13s 6d; mutton quoted at 3d per lb. Grain —'Wheat—There is no improvement to report, millers being unwilling to lay in stocks at present quotations, which continue nominally at 4a Cd to 4s 9d for prime milling, and 4 s to 4s 3d for Imodium; fowl feed —The demand is scarcely so brisk as of late, and we quote 2s 6d to 3a 9d per bushel. Oats —Save placed several parcels of good bright feed at up to 3s 3d, but beyond that figure even for milling purposes buyers are not inclined to ho ; milling, 3s 3d; good bright feed, 3s 2d to 3s 3d ; discolored and musty 2s lOd to 3s Id, but difficult of sale. Barley—Prime malting could be placed at ss, but the demaud is not active on account of brewers holding considerable stocks.
