DUNEDIN, October 11. Mr James Mills, the well known gunsmith, and a leading member of the Masonic fraternity, died yesterday. The Burns statue committee have given an order to Sir John Steel. Seven members of the M Battery of Artillery (Queens‘own) and eight from the Arrow B ties have entered with the local secretary for the New Zealand Biff a Association meeting. The Union Steamship Company have given a cup of the value of thirty guineas to be fired for. The trophy was purchased by Mr Mills vhen in Eng!aal Iste'y.
