Br Electric Telegraph—Copyright, , [rbuter’s telegrams.] LONDON, October 5. The “ Times” publishes a telegram in this morning’s issue to the effect that English officers possess documentary evidence of Arabi’s complicity in the massacres of Europeans at Alexandria and other places. Received October 6th, 1.15 a.m. ALEXANDRIA, October 4. The brigade of Artillery which has boon serving in this country ia now reembarking for England, and various battalions of Indian and British troops composing tha Indian contingent are embarking at Suez for the Indian stations. October 5. The embarkation of the troops no longer required here will bo carried on continuously from to-day. The preliminary inquiry into the recent rebellion is now proceeding, and a largo amount of evidence has been taken by the Royal Commission appointed by the Khedive to conduct the prosecution of the rebel officers. CONSTANTINOPLE, October 4. It has transpired that the Sultan has pressed Lord Dufferin to state definitely the date upon which the British troops will bo withdrawn from Egypt, and declares that ho will appeal to the Powers unless the British Government arrive at an early decision in the matter. [“ Age ” Special—Per United Press Association.] Received October sth, noon. LONDON, October 3rd, 5.15 p.m. A grand military fete is being organised at Cairo. The health of the army in Egypt is generally bad.
