[PUB PJIBSB ASBOOTATIO2T.J DUNEDIN, October 5. At tho City Court to-day Louis and Solomon Cohen were charged with selling goods on false pretences. They went to Aloyaius' Oollego, and represented they had been sent there by Bishop Morau and Mother Superior Gabriel of Timsru. On tho faith of thesa and other representations, whioh proved to be untrue, Father O'Malley purchased. The Benoh answered there was no case for a jury, and discharged the prisoners. The store of Thorn >• Ambrose at Mandeville, was burned down on Tuesday. He waa insured in the South British for £350.
